Department of Compulsory Piano
Compulsary Piano Department
a Vanaga is a member of the Compulsory Piano Department since 1989. In her academic activities she urges her students to actively participate in thematic as well as academic concerts at JVLMA and St. Peter’s Church, as well as to participate in festivals of the compulsory piano students of the Baltic States higher musical education institutions in Vilnius, Tallinn and Riga. Since graduating the JVLMA organ class of N.Vanadziņš she actively performs in concert halls in Latvia and abroad – in Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Norway, Czech Republic, Austria, Denmark and Germany. As an organist she performs concert programmes in Riga St. Gertrud’s Old Church both solo and together with various soloists and choirs.
