Science and Research Department
The Science and Research Department of JVLMA was established on the 8th of December of 2005 by the Senate of JVLMA (by the vote of 16.09.2005). The new department was based on the framework of the former Science Department. The main objectives of the Science and Research Department are to facilitate scientific research processes at JVLMA through various research projects and other activities. The Department is registered in the Register of Scientific Institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia and is funded by the State, according to the current laws and legislations of the Republic of Latvia.
The Science and Research Department cooperates with other departments of the Academy as well as with local and foreign scientific institutions. It actively participates in education processes and supports postgraduate and doctoral research activities.
