ERASMUS INTENSIVE PROGRAMME BRASS & JAZZ III
JVLMA and its partners are pleased to invite interested students to sign up for the final session of the three year intensive summer course – crossover between academic and jazz study programmes. All students will take part in warm-up lessons, guided by different teachers in turn; all students will take part in improvisation workshops establishing links between academic and jazz tuition. Individual lessons will help to improve skills of instrument performance and jazz singing. Repertoire for brass ensembles and big band will be selected with the aim to make it attractive both for classical and jazz students. Several combos will be formed from jazz and classic students making combinations of more experienced jazz students acting as tutors for less experienced academic students. Students participating in the Intensive Programme will receive 3,5 ECTS which will show up in their Diploma Supplement.
