On January 11, the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music will celebrate its 101st birthday, which this year, in contrast to the grand centennial celebration of the past season, will take place in the digital format.
JVLMA lecturers, students, employees, friends and like-minded people on the birthday of the Academy - on January 11 at 12.00 PM - are invited to join the virtual moment of being together, which will take place on the JVLMA website.
The special event will be opened by Andris Vecumnieks' noble "Fanfaras 11.01.", followed by a speech by JVLMA Rector, Professor Guntars Prānis.
