Based on the experience of other European music academies and the increasing number of “COVID-19” infected people worldwide, we have decided to protect our staff and students of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.
Therefore, from March 25 to April 14, the Academy premises will be closed to all visitors and the study process will be conducted only remotely. JVLMA Library will be also closed.
Everyone is welcome to join to a scheduled Zoom Meeting on March 25 at 2 PM, where JVLMA rector Guntars Prānis and vice-rectors Valdis Bernhofs, Anda Beitāne, Maija Sīpola and Armands Lapiņš will inform everyone about the further work and study process at the JVLMA and kindly answer to any questions you have!
