Laura Šarova has earned her bachelor’s degree (2017) and master’s degree (2019) with Agnese Kanniņa in Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, department of early music. She has complemented her knowledge in The Royal College of Music in Stockholm with Ann Wallström and The Music and Arts University of Vienna MUK with Ulrike Engel, as well as masterclasses with such experts of early music as Susanne Scholz, Leila Schayegh, Amanda Babington, Daniel Fradkin, Fabio Missaggia, Werner Matzke, Jocelyne Rainer-Gibert, etc.
Laura has performed in many different ensembles of early music in the Baltic states, Denmark, Norway, Russia, France, Austria, etc., and to add in Germany, Köln Philharmonie with the recorder player Erik Bosgraaf in Ensemble Cordevento. As a concertmaster she has performed together with baroque orchestras Futuro, JVLMA baroque orchestra and with the conductor’s Māris Kupčs baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga. The artistic director of ensemble Neymann Ensemble. In the year of 2019 earned the second place in the Riga Brotherhood of Blackheads Chamber Ensemble competition.
A producer and project manager for the Riga Early Music Centre concerts and other activities (2016-2023), including early music festivals “Vivat Curlandia!”, “Gadsimtu Mūzika – Daugavpils 2019”, and the Riga Historical Music and Dance Festival. As a member of the jury, she has regularly taken part in the competitions of the large-scale European cooperation project EEEMERGING.
